I got home from the Laurel Canyon dog park with Taylor and Bianca Dagger is asleep on our couch. Eventually she wakes up and makes her way over to the kitchen.
“Hey!” she yells, “is this from a chinese restaurant or is it a dog treat?” I look, and see that while she’s asking she is also about to shove the treat into her mouth.
“Does it really matter?” I ask. “You’re gonna eat it anyway.”
She does.
Bianca then notices the dog treats we have that look exactly like Cheez-Its. “Do you think they make these from real Cheez-Its or what? Like, do they dip Cheez-Its in dog treat juice?”
No one answers. No one knows just what to say to something like that.
