Paris Hilton is reportedly adding another dog to her collection. The self-declared animal lover — and PETA-criticized pet owner — is planning on adopting a West Highland terrier, according to MSNBC. A former dog-sitter for the heiress is unsupportive of the new addition. “She might like her dogs, but she can’t keep track of them,” the sitter said. “Last time I watched her dog, she forgot I had it and assumed it was lost.”
Kate Moss is allegedly engaged to her boyfriend, The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince. UK tabloid The Sun claims the supermodel was overheard saying,” I’m getting married” during a recent romantic vacation in Amsterdam with Hince. The pair have been dating since Moss’split from rocker Pete Doherty last summer.
Kimora Lee Simmons has finally gotten around to filing for divorce from her husband of seven years, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, the Associated Press reports. Though the couple separated in March 2006, the 32-year-old fashion designer didn’t file divorce papers until Tuesday (March 25th), irreconcilable differences. She and the 50-year-old Simmons have two daughters, ages eight and five. Kimora Lee, who’s been dating actor Djimon Honsou, is seeking legal and physical custody of the kids. She has requested that Russell be granted “reasonable child visitation…accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”
The first pictures of Jennifer Lopez’s newborn twins drove traffic to the People.com website to an all-time high. On March 20th, the hyped debut of Max and Emme drew four million unique visitors to the site — double its daily average. Although reps for People say that it is too early to estimate newsstand sales, MSNBC is reporting that early numbers forecast that the issue will sell around 2.3 million copies, well above the 1.5 million average circulation.
Nicole Richie is launching her own jewelry line. The new mom tells People magazine, “It’s all costume jewelry. I like to play with jewelry and mix and match.” Richie is working with Mouawad on the line, which is the same company that produced Heidi Klum’s fine jewelry collection. The former Simple Life star is also launching infant and children’s wear lines later this year.
