MEL GIBSON: A BIGGER JESUS FREAK THAN WE THOUGHT!

So my 2nd cousin married this guy who owns a construction company, the same construction company currently building Mel Gibson’s house that a few weeks ago was the scene of that dude’s suicide. Remember?
Okay, so my 2nd cousin calls me up over the weekend ’cause she happened to go by Mel’s new house with her husband that day to check up on the progress of the job.
“Holy shit!” she tells me. “You would not believe this place! There are statues of Jesus everywhere, murals of Jesus everywhere! I counted at least ten different statues inside alone! The master bedroom has a huge mural of Jesus on the ceiling, it is quite scary and remarkable at the same time.”
Now we knew Mel liked Jesus a lot, but this is more than like, this is love.
Or obsession.
Is this a normal obsession? Does Mel think he is Jesus? I don’t know, and I’m a Jew so obviously I’m too scared to even approach the man to ask. It is better left unsaid I think.

Mel is Opus Dei. They are hardcore Catholics; I mean hardcore… That is why Mel has the view of other religions that he does.

Mel is not a member of Opus Dei. That is a rumor. If he is anything, he is a sedevacantist.
