GERMANY UNVEILS MONUMENT FOR GAY VICTIMS OF HOLOCAUST

Jews weren’t the only people singled out during Hitler’s reign; the Gays were, too!
Thousands of homosexuals were taken to death camps where they were either murdered or died from starvation and disease.
Berlin’s mayor is a cockhound, so he had this monument built in recognition of all the gays who suffered under Hitler’s 12 year rule. The pink triangle seen in the picture was used to inform that the person wearing it was gay.
Not sure if this is true, but I read that the word “queer” is written on the base of the monument.
